Santana will not allow a trade during the season

Some more developments, Santana will only accept a trade to the Yankees or Red Sox, so those are the only teams that have a chance. Bedard's value just went up...

Yeah and if just one of those teams doesn't want him (they want Bedard or no one) then the Twins probably won't get max return. The competition for him is cut down to nothing.

According to the Globe, the Twins are trading medical information with the Sox.

This sounds like it may be serious. I think I will pop open that second can of Coke.

It's a good thing I love the on-the-field game so much, because this crap makes me gag. The game's best pitcher comes from a small market organization, demands $25 million a year, and refuses to play for anybody but the two richest teams.

Wow, what an absurd rotation that'll be, even without Buchholz and/or Lester.

Bet you'll be happy to have ya boy a short drive away, though, huh?:)

The Twins gave him the NTC as part of their negotiations with him to avoid arbitration. If you as a player, have the ability, why not?

Blame the Twins...
