1. We trade Bedard for 3 guys who never see an all-star game.

2. Trade Tejada in what looks like a good deal until he avgs 30homers and 125 rbi's over the next 3 yrs.

3. Sign a 35+y/o relief pitcher who stinks it up all year.

Yeah, I'm gonna bow out of this race. If his slappyness (MM) wants in, he is certainly welcome to gamble.

See, from this end, it's a bad bet b/c even if you win the bet, we haven't done jack at the winter meetings and I'm bummed regardless. If you win, you're up a bushel of jumbo males *AND* we will have done something to rebuild the team.

So, again... after careful consideration, I will watch from afar then laugh and point at MM if he loses.
