They are focusing on out of options or non-roster players in camp with other clubs, not bigger names like John Lannan.

Sound like they are in the Oswalt running, but he will not be ready till midseason I guess.

The Angels currently have Richards/Williams/Mills for #5. I think they are looking for depth more than anything and not necessarily someone to plug in.
