Kevin Gregg Didn't Lose The Game

Adam Jones had a chance to be everything he's touted to be and got treated like a weak hitting shortstop. Two fastballs down the middle that he couldn't catch up to he k's with the bases loaded and two outs. Sorry, but Kevin Gregg actually pitched pretty well up to the hanging slider. Gregg will be the whipping boy but Jones had a chance to step up and be a team leader and he looked really bad.

I like Jones, but that was an awful AB, and you know what's worse? The Yankees knew he would do that. Walking Markakis there was a terrible baseball move. But the Yankees knew it would make Jones want to prove something, they knew he would start thinking with his you know what instead of his head, and they were exactly right.

Trying to hit a 10 run homer when all you need is a little dinker. Turrible, just turrible.

Kevin Gregg is not a two inning pitcher. He was throwing his 35th pitch of the night, and he looked pretty good before the homer.

This is not all on Gregg.

I agree 100%.

Jones had it all right in front of him and he **** the bed. Typical O's baseball.

If it isn't Gregg, it is Jones. Regardless, bad teams find ways to lose and good teams win. End of story.

A good team wouldn't even have Gregg on the roster. A good team wouldn't have Mark Reynolds playing 3B. A good team would have an actual cleanup hitter.

Just saying...
