Killing time watching the Nats while waiting for the O's game

And I swear that I have seen very few April games in my life that have had the drama and intensity of this game. It was 1-0 most of the game and I have been hanging on every pitch like a playoff game. There was a critical 14 pitch at bat in the top of the 8th with a man on 2nd, and that Nats added a dramatic insurance run in the bottom of the 8th.

I know it's just a Miami/Washington game in the middle of April, and ten years ago no one even would have conceived of a "Miami/Washington" game except in the NBA or NFL, but man, it has been a heck of a baseball game.

Oh, and if you heard the statement "he is now the number one active pinch hitter in baseball with the retirement of Matt Stairs", would you know who the announcers were talking about? I had never even heard of hte guy, and I do follow the NL as well as the AL.
