John Means looked like an Ace tonight. I agree with Jim Palmer who said that Means pitched himself into the #2 spot of the playoff rotation. So the way I currently see the playoff rotation... 1. Bradish 2. Means 3. Rodriguez 4. Gibson/Kremer 5. Kremer/Gibson -

Obviously am happy for the Orioles...but so happy for Means to be back and have a chance to be at his best in such an important situation. He looked fabulous! -
I think they go into ST with GRod, Bradish, Means and Kremer in the rotation. Wells, Irvin, Hall and McDermott will be stretched out as starters. Hyde said in the past few days the Wells will be a starter next spring. The big need will be a replacement for Bautista if he is not healthy. JMO. -
As we have repeatedly seen recently, the pitching issues with this team are rarely "settled". But Means was playoff caliber tonight and it came in an important time. His effort gave us a chance to win and it gave the pen some much needed rest. It's good to have him, that is for sure.

I had the same concerns, as I went to buy tickets for relatives, but by no refunds/exchanges I think they mean refunds or exchanges with the Orioles box office. It doesn’t forbid the sale or transfer of your tickets to other people. -
What a difference 4 days makes. Means settled this issue. He is a playoff starter. Joining GRod, Bradish and probably Kremer. If Gibson wants a starters role in the playoffs he is going to have to step it up. Flaherty has been sent to the pen and appears to be out of consideration as a playoff starter.
