I wouldn't say that releasing Abreu and promoting Trout is a sign of panic. It's a very good move for the Angels.

I enjoy watching the Angels out here in CA, but I will say that I'm personally not too upset that some of these stupid contracts they've dished out or taken are blowing up in their faces.
