It's funny you say that. It makes no logical sense, but I had a similar feeling from the seventh on - or whenever Cano botched the relay to first base. They looked very "get us out of here." Then once O'Day wriggled out of this jam, they really seemed to give up. It was subtle, whatever it was. But I'm just commenting because I had that thought in my head but didn't dare speak it out loud. Maybe the Yankees are so accustomed to leading at home, they are just willing to piss one away because they know they'll win 11 out of 14 or whatever. I hope that's their mentality. Because the Orioles need to remain seething wombats that will give no quarter. Just keep coming at the Yankees mercilessly. Even when you loose, just keep grinding and grinning.

The Yankees really are an aging team, overall. They have some nice younger players, but the core is almost Depends-old at this point.
