The D-Rays won by a score of 4-3.

They swept the 4-games series from the Mariners.

They have won 5 in a row.

They have won 11 out of 12.

They have the best record in the major leagues, at 18-8.

Pitching and defense.

That Rays lineup is...not intimidating.

Yet they keep winning.

I was actually annoyed today that they won again, keeping us out of first place. It felt like following the Lakers or Ravens or some other good team. It felt...weird. Hold me.

I think you meant to put that next to Phelps, not Duffy.

Thanks, Paul. :)

It's almost a month into the season, and I'm still making a lot of errors.

I don't know what's wrong with my glove this year.

WOW. Heroic double play by the Royals infield during a really scrappy ninth inning closing attempt starting at the top of the Yankees order.

2 outs with Jeter on third. Still biting my nails, I certainly don't trust the Royals' closer ;)

Hah. Those Royals looked pretty decent out there tonight. Can't say the same about the MFYs. They got their arses handed to them by one of the losing-est teams in the majors right now, and I think we have to once again say, as we've been saying for a couple days around these parts:

Pitching and Defense. The Royals had those today and they won. Gee.
