Reported on a Boston radio station that Becket was playing golf during a day that he was supposed to be resting because he complained of soreness.

Just heard it on ESPN.

Seems to be bad judgement at the least.

Not at all, I love seeing stuff like this piling up for the Sox. I hope this is the start of another Curse....I don't think I'd enjoy seeing any other fanbase in any sport being miserable, and that includes the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

Sad to hear about the PA announcer though. RIP, Carl Beane.
