Understood, that's why it wasn't a knock on Jones. The problem is that none of the guys hitting in front of him could get on base in the first inning. We lead the league in homers but a huge number are solos. The other night we hit 5 HR's and only scored 6 runs at that point. If the Rangers hit 5 homeruns, they probably have scored 12, not 6. Our corner infield defense is horrid and we're not manufacturing runs or getting multi-run homers. Unless the starting pitching gets back to where it was two weeks ago, we can't keep winning this way, IMO.

Yea can't argue there, I miss Reimold. For a team that said they focused so much on OBP they don't really do it.
