The thing I really like about Avery is that he is so fast that he must be accounted for on the bases. This can distract the opposing pitcher and defense. It's one of those natural abilities (speed I mean) that can't be taught realistically.

It was better then nice imop. The ball didn't even get by the catcher. It simply bounced, hit his padding, and landed toward the front edge of the plate. Zero hesitation from Avery made it easy. Very impressive
