Midnight game in Alaska

I live up here in Alaska and I've been to the Midnight Sun game. It's okay. The Alaska Baseball League is actually pretty good. Got to see Garrett Olson a couple of years ago. A lot of good college players come up here. We've had Jered Weaver up here not that long ago as well. Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire are aslo alumni of the league.

My fiancee and I are Anchorage Bucs fans. The REALLY cool thing to do is to go to the double-header they have between the Anchorage Bucs and the Glacier Pilots every year on the 4th of July. The fireworks show afterwards is usually pretty decent. That's become our family tradition for the 4th.

Alaska's just beautiful. I love it up here, and I recommend fully that you all come up and visit at some point in your lives. Just come up in June and July, when it's relatively warm and not raining. ;)

I haven't been to the midnight game but I have seen an Anchorage Bucs game, and I have played golf from midnight-4 am at Dawson City in the Yukon Territory on the northernmost course in the world with grass greens.

Both were pretty cool. You can see the big, glacier capped mountains off in the distance at the Bucs game. And during the round of golf you just keep thinking "I'm playing golf in the middle of the night, in the freakin' Yukon Territory!"
