First piece I have seen that discusses how the use of shifts is effecting current defensive metrics.

Very interesting article. The O's defense has been shaky this year, but their use of shifts has been nothing short of brilliant so far.

Interesting stuff. I thought that DRS and UZR both ignored extreme shifts of that nature. Looks like it's only UZR.
