That’s not really the right way to look at the Tatis deal. The first 5 years of the deal, the Padres had team control anyway. He got 44M for those years. So, the deal was really a 9/296 extension. That’s about 33M a year. -

What option is most valuable? 1 - Mullins' value to us in 2025 + Comp Pick 2 - A trade package of what Mullins would bring back if traded next offseason? 3 - Extend for 2025 and beyond? I guess that probably looks like 4/70ish for 2025-2028. Which would be Mullins' age 30-33 years. Buxton got 7/100. This was the closest comp I could find with skill/age taken into account. -
Means was back at the end of last year. Yes, he’s had issues since then but that’s not the norm. -
Do you also feel runners should never attempt to steal with two outs in an inning or is it just the 9th inning? As you already can see, no one agrees with you that it was a bad decision for Adell to attempt a steal. It made sense. The odds were greatly in his favor. It didn’t work out even though it looked like he was safe. -
This seems to be the norm this year. If it's close, go with the call on the field. Umps ain't showing up Umps unless it's obvious. He was safe to me and we caught a break. Glad I'm not an Angle's Fan. It will probably average out. -
Each of his last two games, when he got pulled, he is shown on TV in the dugout and he is mad and punching the wall in front of the dugout. -
All offseason some were fretting the 1-run wins, pythag, no Bautista, etc. I didn't think it would be as crazy as our concerns because our hitters are on their ascent or have high floors. Will the 2027 Orioles supplant the 1927 Yankee lore? Let’s go!
