Beat me to it. I was waiting for this. It will be interesting to see if he decides to go to SC or goes pro. He does not project as well as Cal. I would think some time at one of the best programs in college may help him.

I agree that this was a reach and a nod to his dad, BUT if they don't make a "serious" run at him, would that damage the relationship between the Os and Cal?

Anyone else think he's got a funky swing? Seems like he puts his front leg down too close to his body or something, but what do I know?

If he does, is that any different from his Dad. Cal's swing wasn't exactly textbook.

My hope is that he goes to SC to get the much needed time he needs, especially with one of the better programs and then could become a real option for the O's. But who knows.
