I don’t think anyone in the minors is ahead of him. The only guy that I would consider in front of Holliday is Gunnar. Of course that changes somewhat if/when they move one of them, which I believe they will do and it will be Holliday who they move. There is no better option and as we saw with Gunnar at the start of this year, if they consider Holliday one of the best 13 position players, he will be on the roster. -

I’d be very surprised if he goes to the AFL. He just had the longest season of his life. He’s already in AAA. The pitching he’d see in AFL won’t be anywhere near AAA ability. He should rest up for the spring. -
The way MLB has formatted the playoffs is truly awful and needs a quick change this off-season. The two best teams all season, by a wide margin, are gonna be forced into an ALDS match up because they’re in the same division. They should be resting up and getting byes in the first round. Interestingly enough, Toronto is tied for the third best record now.

I think they want to try to get a pick, regardless. If they start him down, he will stay down like Gunnar because they will be sorting through others. This trip to AAA was a cup of coffee. If he is in Baltimore, he starts the season here. The one way I can see that happening is that the Orioles are worried that they need another OBP guy with great bat to ball skills. Otherwise, there is just far too much talent ahead of him and the Orioles need to see what they have. It takes time to see that and playing time. A guy like Ortiz probably doesn’t get that if Holliday is up -
That play was on Hicks in my opinion, and the opinion of a friend with whom I was texting at the time. That ball should easily have been in his range, and he had a much better shot at making a throw from his position than Frazier, who had no shot at a throw. -

I don't know what you're saying here. I am definitely concerned about bullpen strength and depth. I'm also glad we won the game that we did. When we don't have enough guys available we should make roster moves and bring up a fresh arm.
