Time to get Alfonso Soriano

Soriano has 12 doubles, 12 HR'S, 40 RBI'S and is hitting .275. He would be second in HR'S, 2nd in doubles, lead in RBI'S if he was on the roster. If we can get them to eat half of his remaining salary I would make a deal. He is another power bat that would give other teams pitchers headaches. Go get him DD and we will help our offense and allow some of our pitchers who are giving up 4 runs a game a chance to stay in the game longer. Add Garza and Soriano and we are in the playoffs

Time to get Alfonso Soriano

Brittany Ghiroli ‏@Britt_Ghiroli

Nolan Reimold still not gaining strength & dealing w numbess in certain spots. Will fly here for MRI.

There's a problem with this conclusion... Alfonso Soriano isn't an outfielder.

Pearce is in rightfield until further notice.
Then what was he doing in LF tonight. I'd rather have a RH LF who costs nothing and plays good D in LF than Soriano. Markakis will be back soon. It's idiotic to spend money and players on Soriano. If you need another OF until Markakis is back bring up on of Ford, Avery, or McCutchen.

Call me crazy but I'd have no problem with Alfonso Soriano, the player, on our team. Bad OBP, sure, but if Reimold is gonna be out for a while, I'd prefer Alfonso to any of our current options.

But still, I'd only trade for him if the Cubs were paying a decent majority of the salary (for both years) and we weren't giving up anything much of sure value. I think the Cubs might be able to find better than that.

No thanks. Questionable attitude, cant get on base, terrible defense, terrible contract. We have enough solo homers already, if we get an outfielder, lets get one of those guys that just get on base and play good defense. Solid pop, solid speed. There are plenty of guys like that out there. I dont care for a big name just because.
