Ehh, so much for that. After a perfect game through 5 1/3, Lewis gave up a single to Aaron Hill on an 0-2 count. Now he has to try to protect a 1-0 lead.

Recent post on Tango's blog on no-hitters. Apparently after 6 hitless innings the odds of a no-hitter are about 5%. It doesn't top 50-50 until one out in the 9th.

So, yea, being perfect through 5 1/3 really isn't much. Probably a 2% chance at a perfect game after 16 consecutive outs.
