Verryy interesting. Though, it's worth noting he's come out in a few outings this year touching 93 or 94 in the first inning (but never 95!) only for his velocity to tail off afterwards.

I seem to remember him regularly hitting 95 last year when we acquired him. I could be wrong, though.

No, I remember that too, but I think it was only in his first couple appearances, and after that his velocity was pretty consistent with what we've seen this year, no?

It's sacrilege to say it out loud, but this is the kind of game I'd like to see Bedard just be filthy for 6-7 innings and then have the O's get to the Buccos' BP. I think he's one of those pitchers I'll always enjoy watching when he's on his game.
