That's a shame.

I sure hope it slows them down. But if anyone has the lineup to get around a few badly pitched games it's the MFY. Glad to see some unfortunate things happen to them especially after that crap call last night.

I doubt it, Freddie Garcia will step into the rotation and pitch like an Ace. C.C. will only miss two starts due to the All Star Break. I highly doubt the Yankees will lose much ground at all.

As far as I'm concerned, how the Yankees fare the rest of this season is nowhere near as important as the Orioles continuing with their solid season, and finishing up with a record of at least 83-79 or better. I hate the Yankees, I root against them every time they take the field, and I take great joy every time that their $200 Million team loses in the playoffs without at least making it to the World Series, which they have done every year since the turn of the century except for 2001, 2003, and 2009. However, the Orioles turning themselves into a perennial contender (multiple consecutive winning seasons in 2012, 2013, and beyond) is way, way up there in comparison.
