Down with the Dodgers!

How many of the OH ilk will be rooting for the Dodgers to crash and burn if this trade doesn't go down?

On the other hand if they are average going into the deadline maybe they make a move then?

I am hoping that Kuroda strikes a guy out in his debut, and jumps in the air breaking/spraining his ankle on his way down. Bill Gramatica style!!

Have we really reached the point where we're cursing teams for not consummating rumored trades with the Orioles? And then wishing ill of players who are rumored to be signing with a team that was rumored to be interested in our guy but now aren't because there's a rumor the other rumor was rumored to be true?

Yes. Something to blow off steam after some insane OH days.

I live a very rational and professional life. I watch and enjoy sports so I can be irrational and sometimes unprofessional.

If we really wanted to take the "high road" here then we would side with my wife who asks "what is the point of staring at a bunch of guys throwing a ball around?" Being a sports fan is predicated on emotional irrationality.

That said, I would never wish for a person/player specifically to get hurt. I will however root against the Dodgers as a team now.:D Unless as I said before I believe that their being average going into the allstar break will help us consummate a trade.

I don't know about LAD as a team, but there's a good chance I'll be rooting for one or more of Loney, Kemp, Billingsly if I can snag them in my fantasy draft. :P
