Interesting Greinke Note Tonight

Zack Greinke became the first mlb pitcher to start three games in a row tonight for his team. He started the game in which he was thrown out in the first inning and then started the next day for obvious reasons just before the All-Star break. He started Friday nights game the first game back after the All-Star break. This will never happen again......will it? Greinke had a bad game Friday going 5 innings and giving up 5 runs and had a no decision in the game the Brewers won 10-7 over the Pirates.

It's not like he started 3 games in 3 consecutive days..... it's just he went crazy and got ejected, started the next day, had rest and started after the break... I don't see anyhing special here.

On ESPN radio after midnight last night a national guy said it was the first time it had happened. Maybe he was wrong.

Meh, I just see it as some quirky stat. He threw 8 innings over 3 starts (1 start = 4 pitches).
