This team doesn't even deserve to go to the Poolesville Christmas tounement.

Vasquez is one of the most insecure ball handlers I have ever seen...he cannot lead this team. Gist has regressed without supporting talent, and Hayes is gunshy.

Who the heck's fault do you think it is that this team isn't good? Do we have a GM? NO, IT'S GARY!

Gary SUCKS at recruiting. Beyond belief. The talent is garbage. I don't blame his in-game coaching or whatever; I blame the God-awful talent he's gotten for himself and his complete inability to get a real impact player.

"The Gist and Dave Neal" years--what exactly does that mean? Gist was a talented player they've failed to develop fully and coach to his full potential. That's something you could blame Gary's coaching for and why in the world he doesn't demand he stops taking threes. Maybe Gist just lacks the instincts but Gary hasn't came through on that one.

And Dave Neal is the epitome of Gary's awful recruiting. Everyone knew he'd stink and he did. For some reason though, Gary keeps wasting scholarships on no-talents like that.

It doesn't make any sense.

This is a good program. We should not have to go through two NIT's and now one year where we may not even make those. We should not have to lose at home to teams like Ohio. Blame it on whatever you want, but Gary is at the forefront of each problem. A coaching change needs to happen sooner rather than later.

Anthony Grant, anyone? It's fitting that he just outcoached Gary and beat us, and is also able to get talents like Eric Maynor to build around while Gary hasn't had anyone since Dixon. I don't think having an African American coach would hurt recruiting for big talent in this area either.
