Willingham has a contract for 7 million in each of the next two years, when he will be 34 and 35 years old. Add in his defensive weakness, I just don't think he's the type of player Buck and DD are envisioning for left field and we already have our new late-season DH.

I hope not. He isn't enough to make this a playoff team and will test FA in a couple months. With the Rangers being in on him and him being worth a comp pick to the Philies if he walks the price is going to be more then I would spend.
