What would folks think of this deal?

Matusz, Arietta , Avery , Davis and comp pick for Headley and Volquez? Do it or not?

If Volquez is in the deal I'm thinking about it. I'd try to keep Jake and put in Berken or S Johnson.

As stated in earlier posts Minaya is most likely looking at Oakland as well as us tonight. Maybe Matusz, Shoop, and Avery/Hoes would get it done?

I think everyone is also way over valuing this chase h. Guy also... He has several major league seasons under his belt and his stats aren't earth shattering.

Weren't they quoted as wanting a "Latos-like" return...Volquez and Yonder Alonso were both included in that deal, on top of an additional prospect or two. IMO, Latos and Headley aren't on the same radar. I understand wanting to make a deal, but we don't need to pull the trigger just to say we made a trade. In all honesty, how much of Headley have you guys even seen? I've never been thrilled with his game.

That comp pick might be worth as much as Hoes/Avery. It is definitely worth more then a lower minors C+ guy.
