I don't believe they actually think that. They may be saying it to be controversial and to generate calls but it is an absurd idea.

Anyone bringing up the T-Shirt idea is comical. First off the Orioles have a T-Shirt night once a month every Thursday. The NFL Pre-season schedule doesn't come out until after the baseball season starts. The reason Machado came up Thursday night is because Johnson had just pitched and it was a great time to make an easy roster move.

Why shouldn't the orioles try to remind the city that they are playing well and in the heart of a playoff race? The ravens are big boys and certainly aren't hurting for money nor fans.

I remember the orioles moved fanfest one year because it coincided with a ravens' playoff game. And of course people criticized the team for "cowering" to the ravens. I remember Nestor really laid into them over it.

Even if they tried to steal a little of the Ravens' press-who cares? There are no real intriguing storylines in this year's camp anyway.
