Machado at 3B

More nice plays tonight. His range is truly incredible.

...and another K still without any walks. Maybe I'm nitpicking but I'd like to see him walk just once to ease me a little.

But then, Jones' walk numbers were horrible (still are) and he's turned out ok ;)

He has walked once, in the finale against Boston. Or do you mean you need to personally watch him walk? ;)

Hmmm... my initial quick glance at the game logs in an attempt to cover my ass was obviously too quick. Consider my ass uncovered and vulnerable <a href="http://s1106.photobucket.com/albums/h367/isestrex/Emoticons/?action=view&current=eusa_shifty.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h367/isestrex/Emoticons/eusa_shifty.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Since the trade deadline, Headley has hit .317/.349/.700 with 7 homers and 21 RBIs in only 60 ABs. I think we cd have used that somewhere in our lineup.

Yes, if we had acquired Headley and they really wanted Machado up there is no reason he couldn't play 2nd.

Just saw him on MLB Network and he just admitted that he thinks he is better at third then short.

He also said he would prefer to play short.

In the next few seasons, if he still wants to play SS, the Orioles will be in no position deny him. It will be his choice, eventually. It will interesting to see what happens.
