There are two Chris Carters. One went from Arizona to Washington to Boston in August. The other went from Chicago to Arizona to Oakland in December.

What do the D'Backs have against Chris Carters? They keep trading them! Next they're going to sign former Vikings receiver Cris Carter, then trade him to the Arena Football League. Then they'll ink Chris Carter, the creator of the X-Files, and swap him to NBC. Where will it end??

I have to agree here. I would say the Diamondbacks won this trade. They get Haren for 3 years, IIRC.

The players they acquired are more along the lines of what we got for Tejada compared to what we can get for Bedard.

Yep, just like the Astros trade, people are spending time looking at where the prospects are ranked and how many players were exchanged than actually looking at stats and upside.
