Very surprised to see the Angels & Tigers fading a bit.

I'm sure they'll bounce back, but in my mind I had already assumed that LAA would grab the 1st WC spot and the last one would be between the Rays, us, the White Sox (I assumed DET would pass them), and the A's. Rays and O's are surging while the White Sox and A's are staying even par.

Should be an exciting finish. I still feel like we are not fit to stay in this race, but I hope they continue to prove me wrong!

How about that team from DC just clobbering San Fran by two touchdowns @ AT&T right now. I'm listening to it on the AtBat app because Jon Miller is one of my favorite announcers of all time. Any time to hear him call a game, even a blowout, is a treat.

I agree and had already pretty much penciled in the Angels for the first WC spot. I didn't think the White Sox would still be here the way there are, assuming the Tigers woulda passed them awhile ago. I still kinda do, but looks like we gotta deal with one of them in the WC hunt. I think the A's will fade, but I guess that's just a hunch. My 2 biggest concerns (aside from taking care of business ourselves) is the Angels and Rays.

If nothing else, this **** sure is fun. New, new but fun.

Yeah, I have no idea how we are 2 games ahead of the Angels. Looking at our roster vs. theirs and it's a no-contest in their favor. Like you guys I assumed they would be the 1st WC, and I keep waiting for them to make that move, but they haven't yet.

Yeah I just posted on the MLB section. I watched the ending on MLBTV. Great game to take out Rodney in the bottom of the ninth. Key play was a Figgins bunt that Pena threw away in RF.
