This is awesome! I wish they would do promos like this more often. The Nationals have $1 and $2 ticket nights all the time.

With prices like $4 a ticket, there is no wonder the yard used to sell out all the time. Now I think it's like $18 to sit in the bleachers. I'm pretty sure my salary hasn't quadrupled in 20 years, I think the players salaries may have though.

They are also giving refunds to everyone who purchased tix in those sections prior

That's nice to see, too. Judging by the response in this thread, they are going to sell a lot of tickets. It will be good to see big crowds supporting the Birds in some critical weekday games!

They had $4 tickets to a bunch games this year, and they have bargain nights. I'm not trying to defend their regular ticket prices, but they do have some options to go to games relatively cheaply. The Nats will reduce prices when demand is low for certain games; the O's should consider that too.
