To Everyone Who Stayed Up Last Night

I was definitely in my recliner in front of the TV for the entire game. However, I seem to be suffering some kind of memory loss because there are portions of the game that I can't seem to remember......like the 7th and 8th innings, and the 11th thru the 16th innings. But, from what I've read today, I didn't miss much. I am glad I caught the Taylor " Call me Clutch" Teagarden hit that proved to be the game winner. But why in heck did Weiter's catch all 18 innings? My concern is that such "heroic" feats might have negative effects down the playoff road the Orioles are traveling.

He'll get two days off to recover I'd imagine.

I was supposed to go to an orientation this morning for an IT certification course but found out around when the game started the entry test to get in is taken during the orientation. So I decided to go Thursday instead so I could do study a bit first. My Gameday kept crashing and the only thing I could find was a Mariners radio broadcast. Around 3am at the start of the 17th, I said to another O's fan online who was still up we need Teagarden to pinch hit. At that point I couldn't keep my eyes open and did what I do at 3pm in that situation when I'm home...contemplate coffee or nap. I laid down for 15 minutes and got back up. Sure enough, next inning Teagarden comes through and I went from tired and frustrated to excited and happy and also really glad Buck didn't use Jim Johnson up to that point. Of course now with Bundy called up, tonight is must see. I want a sweep but I hope it goes only 9 this time.

I stayed up for the whole thing watching gamecast. Every inning from the 10th on I would tell myself I would just hang in one more. I kept thinking how stupid I'd feel if I stayed up that late just to see them lose. Before I knew it, it was 4:00am and I was headed off to bed happy. Best 2 1/2 hours sleep I've had in a long time.

Yeah...my wife was definately not impressed with me this morning. Tired, hungover and threatened with my life if I got on the O's board today. Now that I am at work, how will she know that I am on here.:awesome: That game was incredible to watch. I just can't say enough about it. And to those of you that had to read the thread I started last night, I am sorry. I was too drunk to find the drunk board, that thing needs to be a lot easier to find for me after 6 hours of sitting in a sports bar watching the game.:beerchug1:
