Pie is a questionable hitter Jones would be wasted at LF and Scott would put up better numbers than both at least initially.

But I think it is also the owner who is saying to obtain a quality starter without giving up Bruce. I think I may have read that somewhere else.

That is true, it has been reported that Reds ownership will not allow Bruce to be traded. I think we go with the Seattle package as Jones and Clement are two stud players that no other team is willing to match.

We have no idea what the Reds are offering. The only thing we know is it's not Bruce.
