More attrition for Oakland starting rotation?

First they lose Bartolo Colon for the year for PEDs.

Then Brandon McCarthy is hit in the head and seriously injured.

He is probably done for the year.

Now Brett Anderson, who is 4-2 with a 2.57 ERA since coming off the DL from Tommy John surgery in August, left last night's game with a strained oblique muscle. His status is unknown at this point.

Dallas Braden's attempt to come back from serious injuries this year failed.

If Anderson is gone any length of time, the A's will essentially be coming down the stretch and heading into the postseason, if they make it, with an all-rookie starting rotation. Putting aside issues of "veteranocity", you have to wonder how many of these guys are hitting or exceeding career highs in innings.
