Am I the only one who really likes Flaherty?

I just see so much hitting potential with him. He has such a nice swing and has some pretty decent 20hr pop. His defense has even been pretty impressive for a guy his height at 2nd.

Too me the very slight dropoff in defense from andino to flaherty is much more madeup for in the offense flaherty could bring

I really like him a lot too. I wish that he got a lot more playing time, I think he is a really good option at 2nd. The more consistent at bats he gets I think the better he looks in there. He was really hot for a couple weeks before he went on the dl

I like him better than Andino, Especially against Right-handed pitchers. Andino think he's a power hitter.

I like Flaherty, Been a supporter for awhile. Quite a few others have as well. He could use more work at second base, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him as our starting second baseman at some point next year.

From what I've seen, he looks like he has a good approach, good power, and a quick enough bat to me. He also looks like he can be adequate at second base.

He has held his own at the plate in his first 140 or so PA in the majors despite a .264 babip. And I highly doubt Buck would go through the trouble of keeping him on the roster all year for AAAA filler

I don't think Flaherty has been given enough of a look, to allow anyone to make a judgement one way or the other.

I do like his potential with the bat. In this game alone, he's done more offensively than Andino has recently.

I'm right there with you. I like what Flaherty brings to the table, especially offensively.

I'd ultimately like to see at the very least a platoon with him and Andino, with Flaherty starting against RH.
