This reminded me of the Ravens beating the Broncos in 2001. The next team, the Titans, were seen as the toughest challenge. The Yankees seem that way to me. Let's see if history calls for a similar outcome for Baltimore.

I've been cackling like a hyena since the final out. Just can't believe it. Driving 12 hours home to VA tomorrow, on my 23rd birthday, to witness some Orioles Magic in the first two games of the ALDS. Best present ever.

So many little things make this win even more satisfying, such as the fact that we won without a single HR, stole bases, made productive outs, stretched out runners from first to third on singles, sac flies, and oh yeah the fact that Joe Saunders outpitched Yu Darvish in the single most important game the Orioles have played in a decade and a half.

Time to go and systematically dismantle the MFYankees!
