Babe Ruth of course also. Detroit has to make Posey beat them the rest of the series. As good as he is, he isn't real hot right now.

At the moment, the Panda is the odd one on that list. Although he is only 26!?!...he has always looked 36 to me.....so I suppose he still has time to work on his HOF cred

This is easy. Giants win the series. Done! All of the national guys in prime time and overnight said the Giants will not be able to handle the great Tiger pitching. Done. Giants will win. Down 3 games to one to the Cardinals. Over right? Wrong! Very easy....take the Giants.......and to think the Orioles won 93 games and the Tigers won 88......and Tampa won 90. They are supposed to have the best pitching in baseball according to some of the experts although the Tigers would argue that subject. We must have pretty good pitching. How many will we win next year if we add Greinke, Haren or Peavy and Hamilton?

Tampa did have the best pitching staff but no bats to back it up at all.

As for game 1,not shocked at all. If not for a couple of Jim Johnson blown saves and the fact we couldn't hit the broadside of a abrn either in game 5,the Yanks would have gone home early. Other then the Boston series, they had been in a slump for a couple of months getting beaten by the likes of Justin Masterton and Ricky Romero.

It was great to see them handle the Yanks so easily but the Giants are a different team entirely, something Detroit learned the hard way last night.
