Starter, no. Backup, you have a point. Much depends on relative trade value. It will be interesting to see how playoff performances (Westburg, Mateo, Urias) unfold and affect other teams' perception of value going fwd. -
I get that, since his wonderlic grade was leaked. I've seen some other football analysts raise concerns about his processing ability, so I think its a fair point for you to bring up even without the context of his wonderlic score. Besides, his actual in-game footage at the pro level is far more instructive than a test he took 6 years ago. In the past you've gone way overboard, for example calling him a 1 read qb when there are multiple plays of him clearly looking for his (very much not open) receivers in different parts of the field. He does have a knack for really high leverage misplays or mis-reads. I think some of it stems from trying to be a hero 100% of the time. His current ball security issues are also inexcusible and have nothing to do with his processing or any of that stuff. -

I think Urias fits perfectly on next years team. A decision has to be made on Ortiz or Westburg, unless they just don’t carry much value around the league, which is unlikely. Urias is a perfect back up IFer. -

I used the only information that’s available. If I did anything else it would no doubt be treated with accusations that I wouldn’t want to deal with. I did read an article that says the Wonderlic was replaced by it in 2022. There is no saying whether he took it or scored. BTW, Bryce Young scored 98% according to reports. While I like the Bama guy I think his height and light build are against him no matter how smart he is. -
Just chipping in here on Urias... his power outage combined with defensive lapses of late (not to mention younger competition in house) have me ready to move on after this season. Potential payoff heroics might even sweeten the trade value instead of appetite to retain him.
