OHers Top 30 lists

Weams, I love what he did for us. I think the reason I had him at #16 was he has mediocre stuff and decent command, but he's a gutty kid who goes out and competes well. If you noticed, Buck was fairly careful who he pitched him against. That does not mean that I don't consider him a possible candidate for the #5 spot in the rotation. He just doesn't have the stuff, or track record in the minors, to rank much higher than that.

Ok. That is well thought out. Thanks.

1. DBundy (obviously)

2. Gausman (obviously)

3. Schoop (obviously)

4. Delmonico (compare his year to Hoes and Avery at the same age/level)

5. ERodriguez (still on potential, needs more Ks though)

6. Hoes (still a 4th OF unless power shows up)

7. Marin (speed, defense, quick bat, excellent pitch recognition)

8. Wright (power sinker, good slider, developing change, bullpen arm at least)

9. SJohnson (ceiling can't approach anyone above him, but only Bundy/Gausman have his floor)

10. Davies (deeper arsenal, better results than EdRod but frame/velo might hold him back)

11. Kline (wasn't super impressed when I saw him, not sure if he has a real out pitch, but they're changing his mechanics, and draft pedigree gets him here)

12. Kelly (can't ignore his bat, Ryan Adams 2.0?)

13. Wilson (peripherals are great, but does he have the stuff to keep them up?)

14. Walker (his bat seems real, but it's only half a season and he was hurt for a lot of it)

15. TBerry (drop in walks is cool, but going to need to start seeing results)

16. Hader (phenomenal in short stints, could climb massively if 2013 goes well)

17. Bernadina (cut down on his load time, still struggles with breaking pitches but can handle a fastball as well as anyone)

18. Urrutia (because I trust Fred Ferreira)

19. Avery (can't see him ever hitting in the bigs)

20. Pomeranz (safe bet for middle relief, but probably not more than that)

21. Webb (took the quantum leap we've been waiting for in 2012, needs to prove it's not a fluke)

22. Welty (good year, but was hurt, with a full season of .868 OPS at Bowie he's higher up)

23. BBundy (a good comeback from injury could have him back up way higher)

24. Ohlman (finally started hitting... in his third year at Delmarva)

25. THoward (deep arsenal, left handed, not too old for his level)

26. Davis (really, really needs to start hitting)

27. RBerry (probably a reliever at this point, but still quite possibly future MLer)

28. DJones (need some scouting reports to see if he's actually got a shot at starting long-term, if he's a reliever he's okay, not great)

29. Clark (I don't know how but he's on the 40-man after a great 2012 so he belongs here)

30. Boss (real power, great game instincts, okay speed)

Interesting that Townsend is on no ones list. Neither is Mahoney. I would think both would factor in to at least the top 30.

To be honest, I forgot about Townsend. However, I do not think he would be on my list. Just can't stay healthy and the discipline hasn't been there so far.

Given his age, health, discipline, and (from what I understand) defense... he's become less of a prospect than Waring.

First and foremost, he needs to play a full season. Him and Mummey.

Disagree on the Waring line, but agree in general with the sentiment. Other O's with injury concerns include Bobby Bundy (surgery for bone spurs) and Dan Klein (multiple surgeries, rehab setbacks, news is 100% bad at this point).

The top 20 names look about right, maybe a little juggling in between.
