The Jays are in a position to trade prospects because of a lot of supplemental picks in the previous years and having a deep system. The Orioles have Bundy, Gausman, and Schoop and that's about it. Everyone else is pretty much a project.

And as ive said before, it doesnt cost prospects to sign FA.

I haven't heard DD or Angelos say that, and I highly doubt that you can show quotes from either of them saying it.

No but I would be encouraged that they have a decent farm system, a legit ace, and 2 known super stars.

No. Last season, when we were within 2 games of a playoff birth, he said that the Orioles would have the money to make an acquisition to help the team. He said that even though he had spent the team's budget, he could spend more for the push. He has never said that Baltimore would spend big if the team showed it was competitive, nor did he ever say that he thought the free agent market was a place that he would build.
