Holiday 4 Pack????

Got my tickets in the mail today. One little thing that maybe only bothers me is they are very plain looking. No Orioles logo on the tickets nor is Opening Day shown on the tickets. A tickets.com logo is on the right side as well as in the background of the ticket.

One intersting thing is the vouchers say they can be redeemed for an upper box or left field lower reserve ticket.I don't remember seeing that option when the tickets were purchased.

Those are the vouchers. The Opening Day tickets should look "real" and they should have an assigned seat to them.

No, they look real but are very plain. They have all the seat information but there are zero Orioles logos or anything saying Opening Day on them like in years past. If you bought concert tickets they would look like that, nothing Orioles related at all. The Opening Day tickets look the same as the vouchers and Fanfest tickets. Black type on a white bkgd. I am not expecting anything like what a season ticket holder gets but in previous years you at least had an Orioles logo somewhere on the ticket with some orange. The tickets.com logo on the right side is the flashiest part of the ticket.

That's because they changed from Ticketmaster to tickets.com. I'm pretty sure it's the same crappy tickets that the Nationals sell.

So when you buy Nats tickets other than season ones there is no Nats logo or anything like that on the tickets?

I am kind of old schoold when it comes to tickets. I try to keep all of mine and would never unless I had no other option print one out on a piece of paper.

I've only been twice, but I'm positive that the first time didn't have any logos. I don't remember last year.

Well, it's official....one good year and the Orioles stick it to the faithful.

I have been buying the Holiday Gift Pack for a Christmas present for my son for many years. We always got the lower left field reserve pack and spent Opening Day watching the Birds. For years and years we went, while the Birds went down in flames every season (and despite the numbers reported), most Opening Days saw more empty seats than full.

This year, in their infinite wisdom, the Orioles only offer Upper Deck tickets to those of us who have supported them through the years. When called, the response was...."We expect a large demand for tickets this year." Excuse me...I only supported them for the 15 years they lost, so stick it to me now!!!! Of course I can buy the partial season plan to get those tickets this year....OF COURSE.....WHY DIDN"T I THINK OF THAT!!!! 800 dollars to buy a Christmas present instead of 200 dollars....WHAT A BARGAIN!!!! Just so my son and I can enjoy Opening Day together.

One good year and this is what happens??? I dread to see if they have a second good season....and by the way....the Upper Deck Gift Pack is now $110.00 dollars a pack (they throw in a ticket to fan fest to justify the price increase)...that's about what I paid for lower left field reserve the past 7 years.

Oh well, I guess I'll enjoy the game with my son on TV this year. Thanks Birds.

This post is crazy. It's simple supply and demand. If they did offer a holiday four pack, it would just sell out quick then you would be complaining about that.

They had a significant number of people buy partial season ticket plans for this season right before the playoffs last year (so they would be eligible for playoff tickets). They have to appease those fans who have partial season plans before people who are only looking to buy 4 (or 5) games.

Orioles fans should be happy there are supply issues when it comes to tickets.

Just buy tickets on StubHub for opening day. If you really think the Orioles are being crazy because of one season, wait until you see what price you will need to pay to get tickets to the one game, the demand will be obvious.

I think that this is simply another inflammatory thread. I am glad that the five pack is available this season. Opening Day is always great and always packed. As far as the Orioles? I think they have shown much better responsiveness to the Orioles fans lately. Perhaps this new poster is unaware of how many issues brought up in the ASK the ORIOLES thread ended up being addressed. Not everyone's opinion on thing is the same but I just don't see this outrage. I sit upstairs often. A lot of true fans up their.

The pack has an extra game this season. Plus the Fan Fest. SO it is actually cheaper per game.

Also, the vouchers can be turned in at the ticket office in multiples to upgrade the seating and go to less games. Just not opening day. It is a privileged for season ticket holders. The years of poor play and inattention to fan needs made them available beyond that. It's just tough to get enough tickets to scalp them this way.
