If/ When Chen goes on the shelf or even if he doesn't, heres a look at the motion

of Wada when he pitched in Japan. As you can see, its a very funky delivery. And, of course, his level of opponent would be at the level of MLB,so no easy swings

and misses but I think the arm action and deception could, COULD, work in the

Orioles favor. Lets hope so. Anyway,

heres a look: Maybe we can get something of a break here:

Roy's reverse jinx in action once again.....:scratchchinhmm:

I was thinking the same thing when Chen went down. Not a bad spot to see what he has at this point. Wada I know though????

When Wada was signed, he was essentially pegged for middle relief. Also, he was usually a 3-4 starter on his teams in Japan. He pitches in the 84-88 range. He is coming off of TJ at age 32.

Point being - he's probably not a savior. Maybe a LH Koji as a best case.

I hope he didn't really say that. Hopefully he just said that Wada's 2011 season in Japan was comparable to Darvish's.

Maybe that is what he meant to say. But what came out is Wada is as good as Darvish. Those early DD interviews were painful. He came accross as a complete idiot. Thankfully he isn't actually an idiot. His interviews have seemed to improve as well.

I never heard the Darvish comment, but I do remember Buck saying that Wada was pegged as our #2 starter last spring training before he got injured.

Yea, sounds like McLovin read too many of my posts. :laughlol:

No. This was a fairly popular description. I googled a couple of key words just now, and the first result is a scouting report that says exactly what I said.

I don't know how a guy ages a year, has major surgery, and his legend grows - but that's what seems to have happened.

He was put on the 15 day DL, retroactive to March 22. He was transferred to the 60 day DL on April 4. Is it 60 days from March 22 or April 4?

That is what I was hoping to find out.

Anytime a player is 60 Day DL'ed, it is retroactive to the beginning of the 15 Day DL stint. Ergo, in this case it would be March 22nd.
