I would have lukewarm interest in Kubel.

I like Kubel for a lot of reasons and obtaining him would allow us to move Davis in another deal for a right handed bat with power......Mark Trumbo of the Angels. Would the Angels be interested in Davis as a DH and part time Of and 1B along with Matusz or Britton in a deal? Trumbo is only 26 and makes $500,000 a year currently. He is still improving and will be a 40 HR player in the future. Trumbo is rumored going to the Marlins for Nolasco or to Atlanta.

Trumbo = Davis. They are very similar players.

And Kubel = Betemit for all intents and purposes.
