Butler is clearly the superior player. Willingham is a fallback option. If you mean he is cheaper in terms of players needed to get him you are right...better fit??? Not a chance.

You can put Willingham in that category too. Terry Ryan said in an interview on MLB Network that he was done trading the bats, and was focusing on finding veteran pitching. There interest in Saunders is evidence that is true. Willingham and Butler are off the boards until atleast the deadline. Morse may be the only chance to get anything close to an impact bat.
