My deal is people who argue and play simatic games because they always have to feel like they win, are tedious nitpicking pissing contestants IMO. The thread is far from the OP discussion of Hardy and the better options in the #2, and the opinions of both sides on the issue of protection were made clear many pages ago. I don't feel like I have to win. What you believe about lineup protection has zero impact on my life. But if you check out of a debate every time your beliefs come into contact with the facts because suddenly it's "tedious", I don't know why you even bother. I'm not a fanatic. If you had any evidence that lineup protection were a real effect, I would change my mind if it held up. Not you, though.
