according to the bb-ref version of voodoo:

In the past 3 seasons, Soriano has been worth:

$15M, $2.5M, and $7.8M. He's had a few other seasons that have been near $10M.

It's more than I would pay for a reliever and all but certain to be an overpay unless he replicates 2012 in both of the next 2 seasons. But if you don't care about such things than *meh.* It's not Jayson Werth-awful

Crazy money, but at least it's only 2 years.

Plus a 3rd year option @ 15MM that vests if he finishes 120 games according to ESPN. Of course, if he finishes 120 games, it'll likely mean he did very well. Still, that's an extraordinary contract.
