Steve Johnson was useable. Bundy was not. It seems reasonable that if you want Steve Johnson, that he occupy a spot. Bundy, no way.

Once it was determined that Bundy was "unuseable" wasn't he transferred to the 60 day DL thus freeing up a roster spot. If he had been healthy, he most certainly would have been useable. At the time the Redmond move was made, not enough was known about Bundy's future.

Not this off season. All of them are counted against the 40 space.

Bundy has never been on the 60 Day DL. He will start the season there next year though.
