Reimold, that was not a good throw back to first. Good idea, but bad execution.

I'm glad that he concentrated on at least making the sure out, though. You know how frustrating it is when you see a guy try to get the double play, but forgets that his primary concern is to get the first out, whether it be a ground ball DP attempt, or an outfielder trying to get a DP assist in a fly ball. Like in football, when the receiver starts to run with the ball, but doesn't secure the catch, first.

Also, he didn't have a lot of time to get the runner going back to the bag, so he had to do it all pretty quickly.
