You know, I'm not trying to be overly negative here, but I wish we would see the same life and energy from our starters as we have from the second teams...in general this spring they have seemed to outplay the starters (and furthermore, the second team is generally playing against the home teams A-squad).

This is the oddest start to a ST game. 4 runs, away team bats around, 2 errors, an injured player diving back into 1B, and now the catcher gets ejected.

Russell Martin and Clint Hurdle did their pitcher absolutely no favors with all their arguing and posturing. They should be embarrassed.

Some day, I would love to see a player or manager (or both) fly off the handle, swear up a storm, pull a couple of bases out of the ground and throw them into the stands, kick dirt on the umpire, and unload half a dozen bats onto the field ....... in an exhibition game.
