Jake Layman really saved us in the game as all of our guards save for Wells played like poop.

I want to know how P'Shon Howard logged 35 minutes and put up a line of 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. Jesus Christ! Has there been a more ineffectual player in Maryland history that played the minutes Howard does? I hope to god they send Seth Allen to "point guard school" over the summer, so we don't have to see this guy playing serious minutes next season.

Probably for his defense, he does get the tough assignment from time to time, otherwise, your right....why so many minutes to a player with little or no offense.

Alabama beat Villanova by 22,Tenessee, Miss State by 32, Kentucky and lost to Florida by 10. This was a bigger win for the Terps than most realize.

What is going on with Cleare? I thought he was supposed to be a star player for the Terps. He looks like a fringe player that could transfer to Loyola with Howard.

Why would you mention Miss St? They were next to last in the SEC this year and had (I think) 6 scholarship players.

This is a solid win for a young Terp team, but the SEC is really weak. Villanova was not a very good team when they lost to Alabama. Either way, it's nice that the Terps get to keep playing.

What is the deal with Cleare, bad recruiting? Poor development? Player who just isn't putting in the effort? I did hear/read he works hard in practice, but I thought something more would have shown by now. Would be nice if we could count him next year if we lose Len.

Glad the terps have moved on....going to try real hard to catch the next game. As long as Florida Gulf Coast is not playing at the same time.

Unrealistic expectations. The kid is raw, had less basketball experience coming in as a freshman than Len did last year, and last year Len was plenty raw himself. I think Cleare will be fine, just not a savior.

I was right there with you, Tony. I felt like the Terps should of had a double digit lead, but they were in a position to lose the game.
